Oregon has passed legislation allowing helicopter pilots to legally give rides to individuals planning on committing suicide by splatter.

The controversial bill was passed due largely to the efforts of suicide advocacy group, Death-Over-Debt. The group's mission is to help those facing terminal illnesses who want to avoid putting their family in debt with medical bills.

Cindy Lao, spokes person for the group, explains, "People with terminal illnesses are basically left with two options. Either seek out medical treatment to prolong their lives while putting their loved ones in debt or let there illness consume them while trying to enjoy as much time with their family as possible."

Cindy hopes this bill will allow the terminally ill to have some sort of control over their lives.

Helicopter rides will need to be prescribed by a licensed physician.

The cost of health care in the US is too damn high.
