In an effort to deter school shootings, Texas has passed legislation allowing public school teachers to carry a concealed firearm.

The law will go into effect the next time more than 10 students are killed in a mass shooting. Teachers will need to attend a lengthy 2 hour seminar on gun safety. After which they will be expected to have the skills and training needed to make the life changing decisions that come with a school shooting.

Full time teachers will be limited to 9mm hand guns while principles will be allowed rifles with high capacity magazines.

The bill also specifies that funding for the firearms will be taken out of funds for school supplies and cafeteria food.

A ridiculous solution for a ridiculous problem
